In 2016, we launched Project Lead The Way (PLTW) @ Loughlin which is one of the finest STEM programs in Brooklyn. More than 200 students are enrolled in Engineering or Biomedical Science courses this year. Students who participate will be challenged and well prepared for college science and engineering courses. In addition to the traditional courses in Science, Mathematics, English and Social Studies, we provide students with a full range of art and music courses. Our extracurricular program is designed to continue learning even after the normal school day. Loughlin provides an atmosphere where respect for both self and others will grow as students meet with success, resolve personal conflicts, and make responsible decisions and value-choices. Loughlin students, grounded in a solid education and a unique Loughlin spirit, are expected to have profound respect for all people, to be generous in sharing their gifts and talents, to make sound choices about the future, and to be positive contributors to the growth and life of the community.
