NHS has been alive and well at Loughlin! From a very successful Blood Drive to participating in a student-led conference on mental health, NHS leadership and service to others has made its presence known!
On Monday, November 28th, 39 Biomed Seniors received their White Coats as part of completing their PLTW coursework. Special thanks to keynote speaker, Dr. Gladyne Confident '09, who spoke so powerfully to the students.
Through the Environmental Sustainability course taught as part of Loughlin's PLTW program, Mr. Effron and his students visited the Newtown Creek Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to cleaning up and raising awareness about Newtown Creek in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
