#1 Nationally Ranked Lady Lions Break School Record

Our Lady Lions broke the record on Saturday January 11th at The 26th Annual Stanner Games held at The Armory Track & Field Center in Manhattan.

The Lady Lions 4X4 ran a US #1 time of 3:52.52 and set a new school record, a new CHSAA League record and a new meet record. The performance also vaulted them to the #1 national ranking. We congratulate Freshmen Anissa Moore, Junior Jourdan Garnett, Senior Brianna White and, the anchor, Senior Adia Palmer.

Also, Adia Palmer ran a 1:34.27 in the 600 Meters. She is ranked #3 in the nation. Briana White ran 7.25 in the 55 meter dash placing 3rd. Also, Brinesha Derrick-Bain finished 3rd with a time of 9.15 in the 55 meter hurdles.

In December, the Lady Lions also made quite an impression at the 66th Annual Bishop Loughlin Games.

The team successfully defended their 4x400 The Ed Bowes Award. Congratulations to Freshmen Anissa Moore, Senior Brianna White, Senior Adia Palmer and Sophomore Brinesha Derrick-Bain.

The team of Alanni Cannon (Junior), Madison McDonald (Junior), Adia Palmer (Senior) and Jourdan Garnett (Junior) finished 2nd in the 4x800.
