On Saturday, April 12th Lions track competed at the 21st Annual New York Relays, held at Icahn Stadium. Our Lions powered through the rain and cold and brought home an Invitational Championship Plaque and fifteen medals: five gold, four silver and six bronze!
Big congratulations to our 2025 New York Relays Invitational 400 meter champion Tomi Olusanya (featured)! Our sophomore Lady Lions, the team of Najea Smith, Jada Elcock, Liyah Bryant and Camille Cruz, came in 1st in the 4X4 and 2nd in the Sprint Medley Relay. The Varsity Boys 4X4, the team of juniors Deronne Softley, Roman Henry Jr., Matthew Simon and Freshman Caiden Romeo came in 6th place. In the individual 400 meter hurdles Roman Henry Jr. came in 4th and Deronne Softley came in 6th.
