A Strong Finish for PLTW Seniors
-
HBS Seniors have been working on their Anatomy Manikins all year long. Showing off the birth certificates that they completed when they started building their "child", they have added body systems one at a time, including cardiovascular, nervous and muscular, just to name a few. They used their manikin anatomy reference to help them solve various cases throughout their body systems curriculum.

Physics Seniors used their knowledge of Forces to build as strong a bridge as possible, using only 200 popsicle sticks and glue. The bridge had to span a 50 cm gap, while supporting as much weight as possible. On the last day of class, we began testing the bridges by adding weight a little at a time. We are off to a successful start, since one bridge was able to old over 100 pounds of weight without breaking!
