On Saturday, March 4th the Track & Field Lions competed at The New York State Championship Meet which was held at The Ocean Breeze Sports Complex in Staten Island. The Lions came home with one state record, one meet record, two CHSAA records, three personal best times and six state medals.
Congratulations to our Boys 2023 4X4 Indoor State Champions! The team consisting of Sophomore Christian Walker, Senior Jelani Johnson, Sophomore Rashaun Uche, and Senior Wesley Noble Jr., ran a 3:18.54.
Senior Wesley Noble Jr is also the 2023 Indoor 600 Meter State Champion, CHSAA record holder and New York #1. He ran 1:18.35.
A special congratulations to the 4X400 team that ran their best and got us through the preliminaries with a time of 3:27.31.
