On Thursday, April 9th, at The Crusaders Classic Track Meet, our Lady Lions brought home five meet records and eight medals: five gold, two silver and one bronze.
- Freshman Kimora De Windt came in 1st in the Freshmen Girls Long Jump and Shot Put while setting a meet record in both events.
- Freshman Somiyah Quinones made her high school debut, coming 1st in the Freshmen Girls Triple Jump while setting a meet record and 2nd in the Freshmen Girls Long Jump. Flora Willams made her debut as well placing 4th in the Freshmen Girls Shot Put.
- Sophomore Lahzai Robinson came in 1st in the Sophomore Girls Long Jump while setting a meet record.
- Junior Liyah Bryant came in 2nd in the Varsity Girls Long Jump. Senior Moriah Walker came in 1st place in the Varsity Girls Triple Jump while setting a meet record.
Nice way to kick off the season!
