On Friday, October 21st, Ms. Rodriguez and a group of her Chemistry Honor Students attended Chemistry Day at Brooklyn College in honor of National Chemistry Week (accompanied by Mr. Nelson and school president, Brother Dennis).
The students viewed dynamic chemistry demonstrations, visited the college's Chemistry Museum, toured the advanced research labs on the campus and received insight from actual research scientists. One of her students, Nyla Bruno, was honored for her achievement in Chemistry.
It has been a few years since we've been able to have a Chemistry Trip, and it was great to be back in the field!
