On Friday 3/6, Mrs. Jason and 8 Environmental Science students traveled to Columbia University to participate in their 3rd Annual Youth Climate Summit. At the Summit, they began to develop a Climate Action Plan that they will share with classmates at school and with family at home. The focus for their plan is: 1) Energy Efficiency & Use and 2) Waste Management & Recycling. They will continue to work on their Action Plan at Loughlin and share it as their Final Project. We hope that they can inspire others to make decisions that support positive environmental change!
