Loughlin is Recommended for Reaccreditation!
Loughlin has been on a 1.5-year journey that culminated today as the Middle States Visiting Team presented their final report to Brother Dennis Cronin, FSC, and the Loughlin faculty and staff. The Middle States Commission on Elementary Secondary Schools (MSACESS) is a premier worldwide accreditation and school improvement leader.
We are proud to inform the Loughlin community that Chair, Fr. Michael Tidd, and the Visiting Team will recommend reaccreditation for Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School. Throughout the report, the team expressed that the Loughlin administration, faculty, staff, and students were meeting or exceeding expectations.
The Visiting Team has unanimously concluded that:
- Loughlin has clearly defined appropriate objectives.
- Loughlin has established conditions under which they can be achieved.
- Loughlin is working toward achieving the objectives now.
- Loughlin should be able to continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
Loughlin is grateful to the Visiting Team for the significant volunteer time and energy devoted to the process, especially during the past four days at Loughlin.
We will soon provide more information on the report and future planning goals.
Together, we have much to look forward to here at Loughlin!
