Loughlin Seniors Learn About 'Choices & Consequences'

On Wednesday, April 6th Loughlin held its annual 'Choices and Consequences' presentation hosted by the Vehicular Crimes/Street Safety Bureau of the Office of the District Attorney, Kings County. During the presentation, students were made aware of the dangers of driving under the influence with legal or illegal drugs, drinking, texting, and driving.

Guest speakers included felons who spoke to students as part of their rehabilitation, Asst. D.A. who spoke to students on consequences of breaking the law and a police officer who role played with students on DWI stops.

It was an educational, well-received presentation by our senior class.

We thank all those who helped to make it a successful event!
