Ms. Proce Inducted into BQCHSAA Hall of Fame!

Last week, the BQCHSAA proudly honored Angela Proce by inducting her into the BQCHSAA Hall of Fame!

This outstanding achievement is a testament to her remarkable dedication, leadership, and profound impact on Catholic high school athletics and education. Congratulations, Ms. Proce!

From the BQCHSAA Hall of Fame Program

Angela Proce has served at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School for thirty-two years now. Her career began back in February of 1994 as a member of Loughlin’s Physical Education Department; twenty-five of her Loughlin years have been spent coaching GCHSAA Volleyball, Softball and Bowling.

In 2006, Ms. Proce was appointed the first female Athletic Director of Bishop Loughlin, a school that went co-ed in the 1970s. Throughout the years she has served the GCHSAA, Ms. Proce has assumed additional roles such as Step Chairperson for three years and Varsity Tier Three Girls Softball Chairperson for five years, a position in which she continues to serve.

It was during the 2010–2011 school year that Ms. Proce was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Still, she continued to dedicate herself to her school, Loughlin, as a teacher, athletic director, and as a league coach all during this very difficult time. Once again though, in 2017, she received a Uterine Cancer diagnosis. Again, without hesitation, Angela continued to fulfill her responsibilities at Loughlin even as Athletic Director.

In 2013, Ms. Proce was inducted into the Bishop Loughlin Athletic Hall of Fame as a coach and for being Loughlin’s first female Athletic Director. In 2022, she then received the Joan Cassazone Service Award. Currently, Ms. Proce continues to proudly serve Loughlin as Athletic Director, while also coaching and even driving the bus for Loughlin’s Bowling Team.

Ms. Angela Proce is ever so grateful for her journey and especially for this true honor of now being inducted into the GCHSAA Hall of Fame. Thank you for being part of her journey.
