NHS 2025 Induction Ceremony

NHS 2025 Induction Ceremony

This November 13, thirty-eight new members were inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS) at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School.

The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that recognizes high school students who exemplify four core pillars: scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Through the NHS, our students are encouraged to deepen their commitment to these values while making a meaningful impact on the local community.

Membership in the NHS is both an honor and a responsibility. At this year’s ceremony, we recognized our seniors who continued their membership from last year and proudly welcomed our newly inducted juniors and seniors. In total, we have sixty-six NHS members at Loughlin this year.

During the ceremony, our President, Br. Dennis Cronin, FSC, offered a reflection, urging students to remain humble in their pursuit of excellence. Our Principal, Mr. Ed Bolan '78, also addressed the freshman class in attendance, encouraging them to set their sights on this level of achievement as they begin their own Loughlin journey.

We also installed five seniors who will serve as the NHS leadership team for the 2025–2026 school year, guiding the chapter’s service projects and activities. Also new this year is our NHS Moderator, Mr. Christopher Grow, who coordinated a terrific ceremony.

The induction ceremony was a beautiful and joyful celebration of our students’ accomplishments and a powerful reminder of the excellence that defines the Loughlin community.
