NHS led a successful Blood Drive Wednesday, November 16th.
80 blood donors registered, resulting in 58 life-saving donations. Once divided into its 3 components (red cells, platelets, plasma), these blood donations will help save the lives of 174 patients in local hospitals. Much thanks to all those who registered and helped make this a successful campaign! We look forward to seeing you again in March 2023!
NHS also recently participated in the Illuminate Conference held in Virginia.
During the student-led conference, attendees worked on using student voice to solve an issue surrounding mental health. Students presented powerful insights, empathy and critical thinking. Through student leadership, the goal is to share this knowledge and create change nationwide.
