Sam Alston Finalist for Jr. Knicks Coach of The Year
Loughlin and NIITE Hoops Basketball Coach and teacher Sam Alston has made it to the top 3 finalists in The Jr. Knicks Coach of The Year program.
The program is presented by Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), and celebrates coaches who embody the values that make a positive impact on young basketball players, both on the court and in the community. The Knicks and HSS have selected 15 semi-finalists who will each be invited to attend a game at The Garden, and three finalists from that group.
The two runner ups will each win $5,000 and the Coach of the Year will be awarded $20,000 and be entered as the Knicks representative in the Jr. NBA's National Coach of the Year Program.
Way to go Coach!
