Track & Field at the Hispanic Games
On Friday, January 3rd at The Annual Hispanic Games our Lady Lions brought home fourteen medals: nine gold, four silver and one bronze.
Freshman Morgan Bass came in 3rd place in the 55 meters and 1st place in the Long Jump. The Sophomore Girls came in 2nd place in the 4x4, the team of Najea Smith, Camille Cruz, Liyah Bryant and Jada Elcock.
The Varsity Girls came in first place in the 4X4, the team of Nia Reid, Chelsea White, Moriah Walker and Tomi Olusanya. The Varsity Girls also took first place in the Sprint Medley Relay, the team of Tomi Olusanya, Morgan Bass, Lahzai Robinson and Nia Reid.
A Special Congratulations to Junior Moriah Walker. On Saturday, January 4th at The Hispanic Games, Moriah was one out of the ten honorees throughout all of the high school students in New York selected to receive the 2025 Leaders of Tomorrow Award. The recipients earned the award for demonstrating their academic excellence as well as their leadership skills on and off the track.
