On Monday, April 7, 2025 nearly 40 students from Mrs. Ortiz's Spanish level 1 classes traveled to Bayside, Queens where they enjoyed a performance by the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet at the Performing Arts Center at Queensborough Community College.
BLMHS students Jensine Denard '28, Shabar Webster '28 and Levi-George Richardson '28 were able to participate in the interactive section of the show and became a part of the performance that showcased tango, flamenco, salsa, merengue and so much more. Our Bishop Loughin students had so much fun participating in this fiesta de musica y baile.
