Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarships for incoming freshmen are determined by a student’s result on the Catholic School entrance exam (TACHS), grammar school record, and recommendations from grammar school personnel.

Student Sponsor Partners (SSP)

The Student Sponsor Partners is a non-profit organization which provides at risk students in New York City the opportunity of a quality non-public high school education through the financial support of one to one guidance of a sponsor.

This aid is provided by business community sponsors for qualifying incoming 9th graders who are both educationally and economically disadvantaged. Most students come from public schools.

Students are selected by Student Sponsor Partners and must meet Bishop Loughlin’s standards of academic achievement and good conduct.
