Loughlin’s 3rd Annual Alumni and Friends Courtyard Cookout will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Part block party, party carnival, this event brings together alumni, current families, faculty (old and new), and neighbors to the heart of Bishop Loughlin for a day of food, games, and community. 

This year's event includes, Vendor Village (formerly Alumni Pop-Up Shop), a marketplace featuring alumni‑owned shops and local artisans. From handcrafted jewelry and original artwork to small‑batch sauces and gourmet desserts, it’s the perfect chance to support Loughlin entrepreneurs while discovering unique gifts.

Feeling competitive? Grab a partner and enter our first‑ever Spades Tournament. Sign up at check-in and play until a champion team claims bragging rights and a custom trophy.  Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan to arrive early if you want a seat at the tables.

Of course, no cookout is complete without great food. Nostrand Station, owned by Alumni Arianna DeRoache,  will fire up the grill with jerk chicken, ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers and all the classic sides. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available, along with signature drinks!

Kids and kids‑at‑heart can hop between carnival games to win prizes, challenge friends to a round of laser tag, or take their best shot at dunking one of Loughlin's favorite teachers.
