Finals/Regents Exams Schedules

  • The last day of regularly scheduled classes is Thursday, June 12, 2025. Final exams begin on Friday, June 13, 2025.
  • On Wednesday, June 11, 2025 students in Geometry Honors will take the regents exam during the course of the school day. Geometry Honors students must remain in school after the regents which will be completed by lunch time.

Final Exam and Regents Schedule:

  • On Friday, June 13 at 8:35 until 10:20 Freshmen are scheduled for their final exam in Global History 1 and AP World History 1.
  • On Friday, June 13 at 10:45 until 12:15 students in non-regents Geometry and Algebra 2 are scheduled for their final exam.
  • On Monday, June 16 at 8:35 until 10:20 all students in English 1 and English 1H and English 2 and English 2H and English 3H will take their final exam.
  • English 3H will take their final exam in class and not on June 16.
  • On Monday, June 16 at10:45 until 12:15 all students in French and Spanish will take their final exam.
  • On Tuesday, June 17 at 8:35 until 12 noon all students in English 3 will take the regents exam in English.
  • On Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 8:35 is the Final Exam for Project Lead the Way for Sophomores.
  • On Tuesday, June 17 at 12:30 until 3:45 all students in Biology will take the regents exam in Living Environment.
  • On Wednesday, June 18 at 8:35 until 12 noon all students in Global 2, Global 2H and AP World 2 will take the regents exam in Global History.
  • On Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 8:35 is the Final Exam for Project Lead the Way for Juniors.
  • On Wednesday, June 18 at 12:30 until 3:45 all students in Algebra and Algebra H will take the regents exam in Algebra.
  • Thursday, June 19, 2025 is the Juneteenth Holiday: school is closed.
  • On Friday, June 20, 2025 at 8:35 until 12 noon all students in US History, US History H  and AP US History will take the regents exam in US History.
  • On Friday, June 20, 2025 at 8:35 is the Chemistry Final Exam for non-regents classes.
  • On Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 8:35 until 12 noon all students in Chemistry Honors will take the regents exam in Chemistry.
  • On Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 12:30 until 3:45 all students in Physics Honors will take the regents exam in Physics.
  • On Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 8:35 until 12 noon students in Algebra 2 Honors will take the regents exam in Algebra 2.

About Summer School/Failing a Regents Exam:

  • Students who earn a failing final average grade on their report card will need to attend summer school. Report cards are scheduled to be posted in PlusPortal on Friday, June 27.
  • There is no summer school at Bishop Loughlin. Students can attend a local public school for free or another Catholic High School which will charge a fee. I will post information about both choices on Monday, June 9.
  • Students who earn a failing regents grade in Living Environment, Algebra, Global History, US History or English will be required to retake the regents in August.
  • There are two choices for summer school (see below link). Since the school year is not ended, it is premature to register. When the time comes, students opting for NYC Public School will need the attached form to be filled out by Loughlin personnel with an attached copy of the final report card.
