School Communications

The January meeting of the PTA is on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 6:30 pm. Look in your email for the Zoom link from Desta Moe. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please note that school is closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. 

The guidelines for mid-term exams and regents exams are the same:

• Students must arrive to school on time.
• Students must be dressed in complete uniform, including footwear.
• Students must lock all electronic devices in their lockers. No coats, book bags, cell phones, ipads, ear buds, smartwatches or headphones are allowed in the test room. Devices are not allowed to be kept in pockets.
• Students who use any unauthorized aid during a test or who take or give answers to another student will get a zero for the mid-term exam grade.
• There is no cafeteria service for breakfast or lunch.
• If a student misses a mid-term exam, the make-up test fee is $25. A doctor’s note exempts the fee.

Reminder: For students who need to do regents re-takes, please go to the prep classes after school. Your guidance counselors and department chairpersons have been urging you to attend since November.
